We have an exciting opportunity for a Demand Planner to join our Demand Planning team. This is a 12-month fixed term contract position and is based out of our York Street Office with flexible working arrangements available.

In this role you will drive engagement across our commercial team and supply chain teams to ensure a well-rounded demand forecast is in place to support the delivery of our customer commitments.


A day in the life…
• Ensure business demand plans are robust through exceptional stakeholder engagement across our Sales, Marketing & Customer Solutions Team
• Provide process and plan development through analysis and insights supporting IBP (Integrated Business Planning) initiatives in Lion Australia
• Review marketplace, customer, and historical data to provide key insights and analysis at a national level, including modelling and product performance analysis. 
• Provide strong commercial rigour to forecast assumptions including insights to business partners on market, share & brand performance 
• Partner our Sales Team to deliver on customer service commitments, including ensuring processes deliver strategic business objectives, and drive simplification of systems and processes through continuous improvement initiatives.


What you will need from day one…
• We are looking for someone with demand or supply planning experience ideally in an FMCG or Retail environment 
• Experience in developing and implementing engagement plans and leading and implementing change will set you up for success along with experience managing multiple stakeholders 
• You will be comfortable in delivering system and process continuous improvement initiatives 
• Experience using SAP is preferred but not essential 
• Strength in connecting insights to tangible business & customer outcomes
• Excellent collaboration skills: work within a team to achieve common goals and be able to work with other teams & business functions
