**Your new role**
In your new role as demand planner, your key responsibilities will include:
- Creating demand forecasts at material level, communicating the demand plan to relevant stakeholders in the business across sales, marketing, and supply chain.
- Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
- Develop and present process improvements where possible, to deliver the best possible service to all internal and external customers.
- Analysis of slow-moving items/EOL/overstock in inventory and at key customers and proposing action plans to help clear the inventory.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Experience in a Demand Planning role or similar, with demonstrated experience in demand forecasting and inventory planning.
- Demonstrated proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts.
- Advanced MS Excel and knowledge of SAP beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal skills are also essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas and levels of business affecting the forecast process.
