Senior Technical Product Manager - Sydney Office - Permanent Full Time

A great opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Technical Product Manager to lead the Search Foundation team. In this role, you will be responsible for the strategy, development, and continuous improvement of our search infrastructure, ensuring it meets the needs of our customers and supports our business objectives.

The search is a critical part of the Domain products, it’s the reason why so many Australians use the Domain App or visit the Domain website every day. For that reason, the search needs to be fast and reliable.

Searching for a property is also not easy and the technology available to make this complex task easier keeps evolving. As the Senior Technical Product Manager of the search foundation, you will work to adapt our search infrastructure to better meet the needs of Australian property seekers without ever compromising on its performance and reliability.

The ideal candidate will…

Collaborate with stakeholders to define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for the search back-end service.

Align product goals with the company’s strategic objectives and customer needs.

Work closely with engineering teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient search infrastructure.

Collaborate on market research and gather user feedback to understand their needs and pain points.

Translate requirements into detailed product specifications and user stories.

Lead your team through the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to release and beyond.

Manage project timeline and resources effectively to deliver high-quality product features and enhancements.

Monitor and analyse the performance of the search service.

Foster strong relationships with engineering, design, marketing, and other key stakeholders.

Communicate product vision, progress, and updates effectively to all levels of the organisation.
