About the role
As the PR Manager, you will lead the charge in crafting and executing comprehensive public relations strategies aimed at driving our brand image, amplifying visibility, and forging connections with key stakeholders. Working closely with our brand team, you'll drive brand awareness through innovative product launches and local brand efforts, extending beyond traditional automotive outlets to consumer and mainstream media, fostering deep audience connections and keeping our brands at the forefront of consumers' minds with an 'always-on' PR approach.
Reporting into the Head of Communications, Inchcape Australasia, each day you will be a:
- Strategic Storyteller: Craft and implement compelling, connected publicity and communication campaigns that captivate diverse media and target audiences, ensuring our message resonates effectively.
- Reputation Guardian: As the custodian of our brand reputation, you skilfully navigate external relationships and media ties, going beyond the ordinary to elevate our image.
- Stakeholder Extraordinaire: Nurture strategic partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders, leveraging your influence to create a robust network that drives our brand forward.
- Voice of Authority: Serve as a spokesperson for our brands and provide guidance to team members on communication strategies and crisis management, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
- Performance Expert: In addition to overseeing the press fleet, you’ll measure and report media impact, deciphering a clear Return on Investment (ROI). It's not just about activities; it's about delivering tangible results that resonate with our goals.

About you
To be successful in the role, you will:
- Extensive experience as a communications or public relations professional, supported by a relevant degree.
- Have demonstrated experience being a well-rounded PR Manager who can create stand-out integrated, consumer campaigns and deliver impactful events.
- Have demonstrated experience and expertise managing internal and external stakeholders, and multiple tasks, in an agile environment.
- Have exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Be able to facilitate some travel and out of hours work to meet the needs of the role.
