About the Role

Working under supervision in a busy manufacturing plant.  Assisting with preventative, predictive and breakdown maintenance to ensure plant and machinery is operating in a safe, sustainable and productive state.

The Apprentice Electrician will have the opportunity to develop electrical skills and learn how to maintain mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment involved in the extrusion and powder-coating manufacturing process.

Essential Skills: 

  • Eligible for the prescribed apprenticeship with a genuine commitment to completion.
  • Must have sound academic achievement (passes in all subjects) with a good attendance record.
  • Advanced mathematics skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to all safety requirements of the position.
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
  • Have good interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Be a reliable team player who is motivated and eager to learn.
