Role Summary:
Managing business operations in support of both current and prospective customers, focusing on growth opportunities. It is a customer-oriented role supporting off and on-highway external customers (distributors in mining and construction) across WA & NT, including companies like Komatsu, Cummins, Hitachi, Truckline, Truckcenter, and Amcap.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage relationships and business strategies for assigned accounts (regional, single business unit, internal, etc.).
  • Promoting products, expanding the customer base, and contributing to business growth.
  • Develop and manage sales channels in WA/NT for profitability and market growth.
  • Provide support and training to improve customer knowledge and expertise.
  • Conduct field-based marketing to gather competitor and market data.
  • Act as a liaison to resolve issues, enhance partner effectiveness, and boost customer satisfaction.
  • Build relationships with key partners within target organizations.
  • Meet sales targets and KPIs.

 Experience/Skills:

  • Account management and business development experience preferred
  • 2-4 years of sales experience would be desirable 
  • Demonstrate a positive, energetic, customer-focused mindset
  • Willingness to learn and adapt and to work face-to-face with customers
  • Exposure to the mining industry would be advantageous
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work in a team environment
  • Autonomously manage work priorities
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with CRM tool

Soft Skills Required:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship-building abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Initiative, sound judgment, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective presentation skills.

Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint a must; basic sales knowledge is essential; familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce) is preferred.
