We have a permanent opportunity for a skilled Electrical Fitter Mechanic and/or Linesperson to join our team located in Mundubbera .
Mundubbera is well known for being one of the largest producing areas for table grapes and multiple varieties of citrus. It's a thriving small town, only a couple of hours from the beautiful beaches of the Bundaberg and Fraser Coast regions and of course, iconic K'gari.

Remuneration:
The level of payment will be subject to an assessment of the applicant’s knowledge, skill and competencies required for the position.
Location Incentives:
Before you dismiss this small country town, first check out the additional location incentives on offer. If you’re looking to boost your Superannuation before retirement or perhaps, you’re saving to enter the property market, the following allowances will go a long way towards reaching your financial goals.
Non-Urban Zone Allowance - up to $11,125 per annum. Housing Assistance - up to $7,020 per annum. Locality Allowance - up to $1,068 per annum. Non-Urban Time Recognition Payments - $5,000 after 2 years and an additional $10,000 at 5, 10, 15 & 20 year milestones.
And, if you don't currently live in this neck of the woods, we'll also chip in up to $5,000 relocation assistance to make the move just that little bit easier.

About the role:
As a Linesperson, you will:
Be trade qualified with a Queensland Electrical Licensing Board Certificate of Competency as an Electrical Linesperson. Construct, maintain and repair overhead, high and low voltage electrical distribution and sub-transmission systems, street lighting mains and customer service lines.
As an Electrical Fitter Mechanic, you will:
Be trade qualified with a Queensland Electrical Fitter Mechanic licence. Install, repair, commission and maintain various items of electrical equipment and plant.
About you:
Critical to your success in the role, is your:
Demonstrated knowledge of an electricity distribution/transmission system, including construction and maintenance of the electrical network. Working knowledge of Electricity Act & Regulations, Workplace Health & Safety Act and Regulations, and other relevant statutory acts & regulations. Availability for call out and emergency work. Willingness to travel to surrounding areas from time to time to undertake work. Current ‘C’ class open Drives Licence.
