About the Role

This permanent full-time role will see you in 2 days as a manager – working on special projects and oversight of the team, and 3 days being part of the team.

You will manage the operational and business direction of the Department within the strategic direction of the organisation.

Ensure strict hygiene, infection control and OH&S standards are maintained and the efficient and effective use of human and financial resources to ensure positive outcomes and customer service are achieved in line with statutory regulations.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Previous housekeeping experience in a health facility is highly desirable
  • Previous experience in a leadership or management role desirable
  • Understanding of OHS and Safe work practices
  • Understanding of hygiene and infection control standards
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment and independently as required
  • A strong customer service focus
  • Ability to prioritise your workload efficiently, completing tasks to a high standard safely

About Our Hospital

Frances Perry House is a leading private maternity and women’s health hospital in Melbourne.

The hospital accommodates 93 beds including surgical and maternity units, Level 4 Special Care Nursery, 6 birthing suites, 4 operating theatres, a day surgery unit and urodynamics procedure room.

Conveniently co-located with Royal Women’s Hospital, we provide our patients with quality private hospital care whilst having access to tertiary level facilities should they be required.

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases, which may include Covid-19.
