This highly rewarding Display Draftsperson role - to be located at EITHER our Mt Waverley Office (VIC) or Robina Office (QLD) - will see you playing an integral role within our busy National Product Development team.
Reporting to the Display Drafting Manager, your responsibilities will include: Completing the drafting documentation for our Metricon display homes from concept to handoverProduce drawings to support the stages of the workflow process to reflect the customer’s requirements and to incorporate amendments required to obtain all relevant permitsRespond to critical customer needs as identified by your ManagerInspect the construction of new displays to mark up as constructed plans at key stagesCommunicate and address variations and site minutes to rectify any on site issues with relevant departmentsEnsuring all display architectural documentation is completed as per design intent and within the allowed timeframesEnsuring documentation reflects customer requirements, building codes, local authority and planning requirementEnsure you maintain a thorough working knowledge of the workflow information system to enable accurate and up to date reporting of job progress and forecast event datesMaintain a thorough knowledge of the company software and company procedures associated with their usage; andHandle multiple display centres and produce consistent results.

The successful candidate will have: Diploma in Building Design/Drafting/Construction or equivalentMinimum 2+ years in the residential volume home building industryAbility to manage multiple projects at the same timeAbility to keep up to date with technological changesSound knowledge of Building Regulations, Building Code of Australia and relevant Australian Standards related to residential constructionSound knowledge of RevitA GREAT ATTITUDE
