About the Role

Metricon Homes is seeking a skilled Display Draftsperson to join our National Product Development team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality drafting documentation for our display homes, from concept to handover.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete drafting documentation for display homes, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Produce drawings using Revit and AutoCAD to support the workflow process
  • Respond to customer needs and communicate with relevant departments to resolve issues
  • Inspect construction of new displays and mark up plans as necessary
  • Ensure all documentation reflects customer requirements, building codes, and local authority regulations

Requirements

  • Diploma in Building Design/Drafting/Construction or equivalent
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in residential volume home building
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Sound knowledge of Building Regulations, Building Code of Australia, and relevant Australian Standards
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit

Location

This role can be based at either our Mt Waverley Office (VIC) or Robina Office (QLD).
