The Women’s & Children’s Health Network provides state of the art health care for women, babies, children and young people across South Australia. We are the state’s leading provider of specialist care for children with acute and chronic conditions as well as being SA’s largest maternity and obstetric service.

Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS)
The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) is a free community-based tertiary mental health service provided through the WCHN across South Australia, providing care to those with severe and/or complex mental health needs. CAMHS provides services to: infants / children / young people up to 18 (16 in some areas) for community, state-wide and hospital-based services for perinatal women.

Triage of mental health difficulties Comprehensive mental health assessment Individual and family therapy Group programmes Information provision to parents/carers and key partners such as schools, GPs, hospitals, government and nongovernment organisationsOur multi-disciplinary teams include:

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified Clinical Nurse (RN2C) to join the CAMHS - Southern Metro team working in a full-time, ongoing role.
Role Responsibilities:
Responsible for the provision of a high standard of advanced clinical mental health nursing practice through the application of professional standards and adherence to policies, protocols and procedures and working within a model of client centred care. Work collaboratively with consumers in the development of individual care/treatment plans using a recovery framework. Promote access and equity of services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people and their families. About You
To be successful in this role, you should have:
Demonstrated ability to relate to people from a diverse range of cultural and social backgrounds. Demonstrated commitment to providing a quality client centred service to the patient. Registered Nurse with at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience.
