The Role: Part time Registered Nurse positions available at ACH Group's Residential Care Home Kapara in Glenelg, a highly sought-after beachside suburb with many cafes and street parking.

You will report to the Home Manager and work closely with a multidisciplinary team.  You will plan, coordinate, and deliver high quality, best practice effective clinical care that supports our customers to have a good life through interventions that promote independence and decision making by individuals. Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the aged care accreditation process. Ideally you will be looking to work night shifts.

  • Nursing qualification and current registered nurse registration with AHPRA.
  • Experience working in aged care and with people who have dementia would be highly regarded.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of ANNAC and the Aged Care Quality and Safety Standards.
  • High level of clinical competency and ability to respond to changes in clinical need and deterioration.
  • Committed to being part of workplace culture dedicated to supporting good lives for older people.
  • Sound knowledge and commitment to continuous improvement and the application of a quality framework.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and communication working with peers, customers and family.
  • Ability to provide leadership and supervision
  • Proficiency working on electronic assessment and care planning system and other Microsoft applications
  • Will require a satisfactory police clearance for working in Aged Care less than 12 months old before commencement.
  • Candidates available work flexibly across all shifts (am/pm/night) are highly desired
