In addition, your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead large procurement engagements for fleet assets, ensuring a standardised approach across owned and leased vehicles.
  • Develop lifecycle management procedures for all fleet assets, conducting regular reviews and risk assessments to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Develop dashboards to create insightful data analytics.
  • Ensure adherence to safety procedures and compliance with relevant legislation, including the National Heavy Vehicle Law (Chain of Responsibility).
  • Staying current with market trends and innovative solutions for transitioning to a greener fleet, ensuring both environmental responsibility and competitive advantage in a rapidly evolving industry.

Your success in this role will come from:

  • Proven experience in data analytics, reporting, and delivering recommendations to various levels of management, including senior executives.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated stakeholder management experience.
  • Track record in leading change management, innovation, and process improvement initiatives.
  • A tertiary degree in asset management, data analytics, business administration, or a related field (Desirable)
  • Experience in fleet management, including acquisition, disposal, and associated processes (Desirable)
  • Knowledge of the National Heavy Vehicle Law and other relevant legislation (Desirable)
  • Familiarity with reporting tools, dashboards, and analytics for performance monitoring (Desirable)
