Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Fleet Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement and compliance team, you'll be responsible for leading large procurement engagements, developing lifecycle management procedures, and ensuring adherence to safety procedures and compliance with relevant legislation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead large procurement engagements for fleet assets, ensuring a standardised approach across owned and leased vehicles.
  • Develop lifecycle management procedures for all fleet assets, conducting regular reviews and risk assessments to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Develop dashboards to create insightful data analytics.
  • Ensure adherence to safety procedures and compliance with relevant legislation, including the National Heavy Vehicle Law (Chain of Responsibility).
  • Stay current with market trends and innovative solutions for transitioning to a greener fleet, ensuring both environmental responsibility and competitive advantage in a rapidly evolving industry.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in data analytics, reporting, and delivering recommendations to various levels of management, including senior executives.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated stakeholder management experience.
  • Track record in leading change management, innovation, and process improvement initiatives.
  • A tertiary degree in asset management, data analytics, business administration, or a related field (Desirable)
  • Experience in fleet management, including acquisition, disposal, and associated processes (Desirable)
  • Knowledge of the National Heavy Vehicle Law and other relevant legislation (Desirable)
  • Familiarity with reporting tools, dashboards, and analytics for performance monitoring (Desirable)
