Key Responsibilities- Repair, maintain, and diagnose a high volume of prime movers, rigids, and trailers
- Complete repairs and work in a safe and efficient manner
- Servicing vehicles in line with our company service schedule
- Assisting with major repairs such as rebuilds, midlife's, brake / bearing overhauls
- Accurate completion of all documentation associated with fleet maintenance and repairs
- Attending to breakdowns when required on a weekly roster
- Mechanical Trade qualification
- Proven competence in repairs and overhauls
- Experience working on prime movers or heavy vehicle trailers is highly valued
- Effective diagnostic skills on Kenworth, DAF, Cummins, BPW
- Own basic tools (specialist tools are provided) (tool allowance paid)
- Basic computer skills
- Clear and concise communication skills
