Green Light Head Office in Sydney CBD have a rare and immediate requirement for a talented Employee Lead who will manage strategies and processes relating to employment awards, culture, onboarding, offboarding, grievance resolution, performance management and compliance..

To succeed in this position, the Employee Lead must have previous experience dealing with key stakeholders including [insert higher level stakeholders such as legal, finance, department managers, etc while possessing the capability to be influential. They should also have good knowledge of employment awards, and legislation relating to casual employee management, grievance resolution, performance management and overall fair work legislation.

The Employee Lead will be highly motivated, enthusiastic, and professional, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement effective HR policies and frameworks that will support the strategic growth of a business.
  • Provides support, guidance, and oversight to managers and staff on a wide variety of HR matters including practices and policies relating to performance management, redeployment & redundancy, conflict resolution, grievances, discipline, policies, employment awards and change management.
  • Undertakes award interpretation (including casual employment) across the range of industry awards and agreements and provides advice to managers and staff in relation to these.
  • Provide timely information and/or education for all levels of a company on HR issues.
  • Educate, coach, and partner with managers on performance management and employee development goals.
  • Collaborate with the business to champion and accelerate a culture of excellence in which people feel engaged and inspired to deliver top business results.
  • Provide operation advice to managers and staff in relation to employment contracts, terms of employment and the interpretation of agreements, awards, and policies.
  • Contribute to the development, review and maintenance of human resource policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Actively participate in operational HR planning and strategy, including assisting in consultation processes with internal stakeholders and training programs.

Requirements

  • Previous strategic human resource experience working within a busy team environment.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise, in a results-orientated environment.
  • Must be able to work autonomously in accordance with guidelines provided by the Operations Manager and established company policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrated experience in the interpretation of policies, legislation, awards including casual employment.
  • High level ability to utilise and to quickly adapt to new HR processes and technology with ease.
  • Experience in overseeing performance reviews, redundancies and grievance reviews.
  • Ability to build relationships, establish personal credibility and demonstrate HR expertise to consistently deliver high quality and efficient advice to key stakeholders
  • Experience with strategizing and implementing people practices that support a positive culture, flexibility, pragmatism and creative problem-solving skills.
  • High-level interpersonal, communication skills and stakeholder management skills both written and verbal.
  • Extremely high attention to detail.
