Aged & Disability Support - Oyster Care

Become part of the Oyster care team and support people with disability by empowering them and giving them the care they deserve.
We are looking for someone who is passionate to work in providing help and care to our participants in achieving their goals and enhancing their lifestyle/well-being with greater independence and opportunities.
Oyster care is a registered NDIS service provider, as a growing organisation and growing number of participants, we currently have multiple opportunities that have opened in Sydney for a part-time - causal worker.
To be successful, you need to have:
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and open minded
- The ability to adapt to changing environments or circumstances while maintaining the best level of care.
- Able to execute and follow the care plan
- Work under limited supervision
Role and Responsibility
- Assist participants to complete their personal/self-care routine and daily activities/tasks.
- Assist participants to access their local community and attend appointments as required.
- Assisting participants with their allied health services.
- Monitoring and implementing on client’s behaviour/management, safety, and well-being.
- Maintain a high standard of incident reports, including submission of daily progress notes.
- Support clients’ needs through clear communication and interpersonal abilities.
Requirements
- Ideally similar experience providing client-centeredcare
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support/Aged Care or equivalent
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
- Current First Aid certificate
- Driver’slicense and own transport
- National Criminal History Check or NDIS Workers Clearance
- Working with children
- COVID-19 vaccine
- Right to work in Australia
