  • Relevant OHS, Safety and First Aid qualifications or experience
  • Hold a current driver’s licence with clean driving record

About the Role 

In this role, you’ll help shape a strong safety culture across the business, working closely with the safety manager, other safety officers, and a solid team of compliance, quality, injury management, and training pros. You’ll be the eyes and ears out in the field, doing site inspections and keeping a close watch on everything safety-related.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Improve safety standards for all employees
  • Perform site safety inspections, hazard identifications and risk assessments
  • Attend HSR and toolbox meetings
  • Maintain and review all safety documentation and safety systems
  • Provide relevant training and support to continuously improve safety
  • Manage drug and alcohol testing and vaccinations programs.
  • Investigate injuries and incidents and provide corrective action recommendations
  • Above all, ensuring all activities are performed safely, accurately and in accordance with legislative, company and customer requirements
