Records Officer

This Government agency is seeking an experienced Records Officer to assist with the administration and maintenance of an eDRMS (TRIM) and records management function. It is a 6 months contract role.

You will be responsible for

  • Promote and communicate good records management practice across the business
  • Undertake tasks as directed that contribute to records management
  • Ensure that the Records Management System access protocols are understood, applied and maintained
  • Ensure existing electronic document and records management procedures and guidelines are continuously reviewed and updated.
  • Assist with the management of hard-copy filing system, archiving, retention and disposal processes.

Required skills

  • Experience in the maintenance of records management systems and procedures
  • Knowledge of records management principles including filing systems, naming conventions
  • Experience in the maintenance of electronic records and document management systems (eDRMS)
  • Well-developed analytical skills and a strong attention to detail
  • Prior Government experience – highly regarded
