You will join us as a Damage Prevention Supervisor in our friendly, collaborative, well-established Risk Control Team based at our Jandakot office. This full-time, permanent role is perfect for someone looking for steady workdays and hours (hey, no FIFO ;)) with flexible work arrangements.

What You Will Do

Supervise the Damage Prevention Team in delivering the Pipeline Patrol maintenance strategies and improving the awareness of the public and key third parties to the presence of buried pipelines and associated facilities.
The role includes delivering ATCO Third Party Damage Prevention presentations and liaising with the Before You Dig Australia working group, as well as with the various stakeholders to ensure the delivery of approved location services in accordance with service agreements, company procedures and engineering instructions.

Your contribution and responsibilities:

Damage Prevention

Supervising the Pipeline Patrol team to ensure weekly and monthly KPI’s are met. Raising the awareness of the public and key third parties to the presence of buried pipelines and associated facilities and helping them to understand the steps they can take to prevent damage Delivery of ATCO targeted Third Party Damage Prevention Presentations Liaising with the various stakeholders to ensure the delivery of ATCO approved location services in accordance with service agreements, company procedures and engineering instructions Provide timely and accurate reports, relating to damage prevention including investigations and approved locator performance. Provide direction and technical advice to service providers and key stakeholders in relation to Damage Prevention and compliance with ATCO requirements.

Stakeholder Management

Ensures relevant processes are implemented for service provider compliance in line with the terms and conditions of the service agreements relevant to "Approved Locator Process" Development, evaluate and continually improve ATCO’s Pipeline Damage Prevention guideline Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with industry associations, the public, the excavator community, landowners and regulators

Ring Fencing

ATCO Gas Australia operates in a "ring fenced" business environment and is subject to "ring fencing" rules and confidential information requirements under a range of sources, including the National Gas Law, National Gas Rules and contractual obligations. Knowledge and compliance of the ring fencing rules and confidential information is a requirement of this position.

Safety Case

Ensures compliance with the Gas Distribution System and Mandurah Gas Lateral Safety Cases having particular regard to the accountabilities outlined in the Safety Case RACI.

What will you bring:

Essential:

Experience in either a civil construction, training or safety position with keen interest in underground asset damage prevention Good computer skills including the ability to utilise a range of information systems (MS Office, GNIS & SAP desirable) Current C Class Drivers Licence Western Australia Construction White Card/ Blue Card Workplace First Aid Certificate Basic Worksite Traffic Management Certificate High level of communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to influence, build and maintain collaborative relationships with a range of stakeholders and deliver excellent customer service

Desirable:

Networking and ability to influence, build and maintain collaborative relationships with a range of stakeholders. Civil construction experience coupled with knowledge of underground infrastructure will be highly regarded Construction experience combined with pipeline/utilities surveillance and technical knowledge in gas distribution networks
