Damage Prevention Supervisor Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Damage Prevention Supervisor to join our Risk Control Team at ATCO Gas Australia. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and reliable delivery of our pipeline maintenance strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the Damage Prevention Team to ensure the successful delivery of pipeline patrol maintenance strategies and public awareness initiatives.
  • Develop and implement effective damage prevention plans to minimize the risk of pipeline damage and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including Before You Dig Australia and key third parties, to ensure the delivery of approved location services in accordance with service agreements and company procedures.
  • Provide technical advice and guidance to service providers and key stakeholders on damage prevention and compliance with ATCO requirements.
  • Monitor and report on damage prevention performance, including investigations and approved locator performance.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a civil construction, training, or safety position with a keen interest in underground asset damage prevention.
  • Good computer skills, including the ability to utilize a range of information systems (MS Office, GNIS & SAP desirable).
  • Current C Class Drivers Licence.
  • Western Australia Construction White Card/ Blue Card.
  • Workplace First Aid Certificate.
  • Basic Worksite Traffic Management Certificate.
  • High level of communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence, build, and maintain collaborative relationships with a range of stakeholders and deliver excellent customer service.
