About the team

Capacity Planning is one of the major modules within the Optimization & Orchestration team. It is primarily responsible for the planning of workforces within Operations, aiming to achieve the business goals of the company, product and organisational levels. As a Capacity Planning Analyst in the Technology and Process team, you will be working with both cross functional stakeholders and internal teams to drive process/workflow improvement and system improvement/automation. You will be working with large complex data, doing in-depth data/trend analysis to drive strategic solutions and recommendations. Responsibilities- Platform/Tools improvements: Working closely with cross functional team to design and implement internal platforms for resource planning and optimization to empower operation efficiency. Conducting user research and data analysis to translate user painpoints to requirements. Responsible for platform features iteration.- Strategic Analysis: Develop principles for resource allocation and generate comprehensive analytical reports considering business growth, cost efficiency, management optimization, and resource availability.- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with regional and business line leaders to align on business objectives and key strategies, collaborating effectively with stakeholders to implement planning solutions.- Team Mentorship: Mentor junior analysts to develop optimal planning solutions tailored to specific business needs.- Operational Forecasting: Forecast demand and allocate resources for large-scale operational domains, particularly in content safety, ensuring the smooth operation of TikTok products.

Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor degree or above- Minimum of 3 years' experience in related/similar capability. - Proven experience in large scale platform / system / tools design and/or implementation or similar capacity, experience with internal platform preferred. - Proven experience in project management, with a strong ability to manage multiple projects. - Proven experience in data analysis capabilities along with strong proficiency in data analysis tools (., Excel, SQL, Tableau).- Strong understanding capacity planning and forecasting - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate insights and recommendations clearly in both written and verbal English. Preferred Qualifications- Industry Knowledge: Preferred experience in content safety, supply chain management, or financial sectors.- Global Team Fit: Ability to work effectively in a global team environment, valuing diverse perspectives and demonstrating cultural sensitivity and adaptability.
