The Opportunity

We now have an exciting opportunity available for an Access and Approvals Manager to join us in our Access and Approvals team in Melbourne on a full-time permanent basis.

Reporting to the General Manager Infrastructure Planning & Approvals, you will be responsible for overseeing the team that is responsible for securing the necessary access and approvals for APA’s energy infrastructure projects, ensuring the smooth execution of these projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leads the process of obtaining necessary approvals for infrastructure projects
  • Establishes relationships with government bodies and local communities to secure approvals
  • Manages a team dedicated to handling access and approvals.
  • Develops strategies to streamline the access and approval processes
  • Ensures compliance with industry regulations and company policies

Your background

  • Proven experience within a lead position as an approvals professional
  • Demonstrated Victorian experience in providing a high level of technical advice on planning/environmental matters for gas and renewable infrastructure projects and/or power transmission
  • Well-developed verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to work in an organised, safe and efficient manner, while working in accordance with policies and procedures applicable to functional responsibilities

The team has a diverse range of skills and experiences and collaboratively work to progress projects through development and delivery.
