What you’ll do

Management of property and large loss claim files from assessment to settlementManage the insured/brokers claim expectations and explain in plain English policy response and how settlement achieved.Assist fellow Claims Officers - we work as a team; this means that we distribute the workload to ensure that claims are handled in a prompt and efficient manner.Provide Underwriters and Claims Manager with feedback from issues or risk deficiencies.Provide regular claim progress updates to Brokers and Customers as per Service Standards and Code of Practice including any declinatures and to invite feedback.Effective use & knowledge of the computer systems.Determine appropriate contract coverage, including indemnity, legal liability and quantum issues

What you’ll bring

Extensive claims experience in Commercial Property ClaimsProven performer in customer service rolesIdeally have completed or completing ANZIIF studies (or equivalent)Strong decision-making skillsISR experience would be preferred
