THE ROLE
We are calling Sushi Chefs of all levels and skill sets from someone with a very basic understanding of sushi with a passion to grow into a professional sushi chef. To the experienced sushi chef ready to step into a management role, continue their learning both culinary and operations from our experienced management team.
  
SENIOR SUSHI CHEF WILL HAVE:

  • 3 to 4 years' experience in sushi and sashimi
  • Great communication, delegation and leadership skills
  • Ability to work well within a team and take direction
  • In-depth understanding of Food Safety & Hygiene Practices
  • Strong communication skills
  • Creativity around menu development and food presentation
  • A naturally positive demeanor
  • High standards and expectations within the kitchen

THE JUNIOR SUSHI CHEF WILL HAVE:

  • Some basic experience with sushi and sashimi
  • A naturally positive demeanor
  • Strong passion to learn more about sushi and sashimi in a professional environment
