The Parklife Metro Consortium is working on an exciting new metro rail infrastructure project in Greater Western Sydney.

This city shaping project, which will be delivered under a Public Private Partnership, will provide a major economic stimulus for Western Sydney. 
  
WeBuild as a D&C Contractor member, will be responsible for the successful delivery of the design and construction elements of the project, and we are currently looking to appoint Survey Data Manager.
  
Position Overview:

The Survey Data Manager will be responsible for overseeing, validating and managing complex datasets related to the construction. This role involves preparing calculations, design modelling, managing survey requests, overseeing as-built reporting, and ensuring compliance to data management requirements. The Survey Data Manager will also be accountable for adherence to contractual and quality assurance obligations, and data review.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare calculations for quantities and submit them, along with supporting documentation, to project management personnel.
  • Manage the design and survey data for their respective zoning.
  • Undertake complex design calculations and 3d modelling.
  • Undertake the development of a WAE survey model.
  • Oversee the as-built reporting for ITP QA requirements.
  • Submit survey hold points as required.
  • Oversee that all surveying equipment used is suitable for the task and can attain the required accuracy.
  • Review all Setout, Prepour, and Asbuilt data before acceptance.

 
Essential Skills:

  • Team leadership: Ability to lead and coordinate survey teams effectively.
  • Strong communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Positive attitude: Demonstrates a positive and proactive approach to work.
  • Proficiency in 12d and 12d Field software.
  • Knowledge of Synergy software.
  • Familiarity with MicroSurvey Starnet software.
  • Railway construction experience

 
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Relevant professional certifications.
  • Previous experience as a Senior Surveyor, Data Manager or Survey Manager Role in complex infrastructure construction surveying projects.
