We are looking for a Manager of Product Operations who will lead an experienced group to scale digital product operations and drive greater empowerment and accountability for digital product teams.

This is a great opportunity for a strategic thinker with demonstrable ability to align business direction and product operations capability.

Reporting to the Digital Product Operations Team, and working in a collaborative community, a challenging and exciting environment, you will be:

  • Tasked with scaling the operations of the end-to-end digital products development lifecycle
  • Empowering the teams to deliver digital products that increase value and reusability for Rio Tinto.

  • You are a strategic thinker with demonstrable ability to align business direction and product operations capability.
  • You have developed and implemented efficient processes to streamline entire product development lifecycles, from ideation to launch and beyond.
  • Conduct regular evaluations of product management processes to identify areas for improvement. Propose, develop, and implement enhancements aligned with Agile, Lean, and Continuous Integration principles.
  • Experience in establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success. Generate regular reports on product performance, identify issues, and implement effective resolution strategies.
  • Familiar with implementation of robust OKR framework to set clear goals, track progress so that they ensure alignment with our business objectives.
  • Overseen product budgets, allocated resources effectively and developed funding strategies to support product development and growth.
  • If you are applying for the role based in Montreal, Quebec, fluency in French and English, both written and spoken. Rio Tinto is a global company and the duties of this position may require collaboration with colleagues, teams or partners based outside Quebec

Nous sommes à la recherche d’un(e) chef de service de l’exploitation de produits qui dirigera un groupe expérimenté dans le déploiement de solutions numériques tout en favorisant l’autonomie et la responsabilisation des équipes de produits numériques.

Il s’agit d’une excellente occasion pour une personne dotée d’un bon esprit stratégique et ayant une capacité éprouvée d’aligner l’orientation d’affaires sur la capacité d’exploitation de produits.

Relevant de l’équipe d’exploitation de produits numériques et travaillant au sein d’une communauté collaborative, dans un environnement complexe et stimulant, vous devrez :

  • Mettre en œuvre les activités du cycle de développement des produits numériques de bout en bout à grande échelle;
  • Donner aux équipes les moyens de livrer des produits numériques qui stimulent la valeur et la réutilisabilité au sein de Rio Tinto.

Votre contribution

  • Esprit stratégique capable d’aligner l’orientation d’affaires sur la capacité d’exploitation de produits.
  • Expérience en développement et en mise en œuvre de processus efficaces conçus pour simplifier l’ensemble du cycle de développement des produits, de l’idéation au lancement, et au-delà.
  • Capacité d’effectuer des évaluations périodiques visant les processus de gestion de produits, de repérer les occasions d’amélioration, ainsi que de proposer, développer et mettre en œuvre des améliorations conformes aux principes d’intégration agiles, allégés et continus.
  • Expérience dans l’établissement d’indicateurs clés de performance (ICP) servant à évaluer la réussite d’un produit. Capacité de produire des rapports réguliers sur la performance des produits, de cibler des problèmes et de mettre en œuvre des stratégies de résolution efficaces.
  • Bonne connaissance du processus de mise en œuvre d’un cadre solide d’objectifs et de résultats clés (OKR) et capacité de fixer des objectifs clairs et d’en faire un suivi pour veiller à l’atteinte des objectifs d’entreprise.
  • Aptitude pour la supervision de budgets de produits, l’allocation efficace de ressources et l’élaboration de stratégies de financement dans le but de soutenir le développement et la croissance du produit.
  • Si vous postulez pour le poste basé à Montréal, Québec, maitriser le français et l’anglais à l’oral et à l’écrit.
