Lovisa Opportunity:
To effectively project manage store builds and refurbishments in a timely and cost effective manner.
The Store Build Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Establishing and maintaining a programme for the rollout works;
- Calling and attending periodic review meetings and site meetings with subcontractors to accurately control the works to meet the programme, budget and expected quality of fit out.
- Ensuring all works are executed and completed strictly in accordance with the design and construction intent of the drawings and the Scope of Works for each site. Ensuring the Laws, BCA, and all the regulations, ordinances or requirements of Authorities that have jurisdiction over the Works are fully complied with;
- Arranging and attending defects inspection of all works and ensuring they are rectified.
- Receiving, addressing and settling all subcontractors invoices, claims for variance etc. as may be appropriate and in a timely manner;
- Arranging, attending and reporting on all “practical” and “final” completion inspections and prepared and distribute certificates as appropriate; and
- Administering the defects liability period and implementation of maintenance during this period. ie stores will contact the project manager for maintenance work. The project manager will then determine if it is a chargeable item or under contract and manage it to fruition
- Liaise with Shopping Centre Managers
- All other projects as directed by Store Development Manager
The roles skills and requirements:
- Demonstratedability to manage fit out projects
- Demonstratedability to prioritise, program works, analyse risk and negotiate
- Demonstratedability to manage the financial operations of a business unit
- Strong initiative and ability to work without supervision
- Good understanding of retail concepts and processes
- Excellent implementation skills
- Ability to quickly grasp an understanding of Lovisa products andLovisa processes
- Financial, written and verbal literacy
- Experience in Materials requirement planning
- Experience in Microsoft project
- A can do positive attitude
- Ability to meet deadlines and works with a high sense of urgency and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High degree of accuracy with attention to detail.
