Your New Role:

  • Technical Support: Provide support for alarm systems, access control, IP CCTV, intercoms, and IP camera systems
  • Customer Engagement: Address technical enquiries and manage escalations from profit center locations across Australia
  • Problem Solving: Investigate product issues, identify root causes, and collaborate with manufacturers to deliver effective solutions
  • Product Knowledge: Test and assess new products, creating detailed reports to improve product understanding
  • Knowledge Sharing: Lead presentations and product demos. Maintain and enhance the technical knowledge base to support internal teams and customers
  • Location: Full-time role based in Clayton South, with Monday to Friday hours

 
About You:

  • Eager to Learn: You’re passionate about deepening your technical knowledge and understanding how products work – and why they fail
  • Curious and Analytical: You dig into the root causes of issues, finding long-term solutions rather than just quick fixes
  • Tech-Savvy: Surface-level knowledge isn’t enough for you – you want to know the "how" and "why" behind the technology. You’ve got a solid grasp of networking and IP principles, and you're ready to dive deeper
  • Creative Problem Solver: You’re detail-oriented and skilled at resolving technical challenges with innovative solutions
  • Customer-Focused: You communicate clearly, helping customers solve problems effectively
  • Team Player: Collaborative, patient, and empathetic, you work well with others to tackle challenges
  • Working Rights: Australian or New Zealand citizen/resident
  • Experience (desirable): Experience in tech sales support, especially within security/IT (CCTV, access control, intercoms) is a plus, but a strong technical mindset and willingness to learn are the most important traits
