About the opportunity:

Network Rail Consulting currently has an exciting full-time opportunity for an experienced professional to join our growing team as a Project Coordinator based in Brisbane.

In this role, you will work across a diverse project-based business, providing a high level of project co-ordination and administrative support across a range of internal projects and client assignments.

This is a highly adaptive and flexible role which encompasses a range of skills and service needs including project administrative support, procurement & accounts support, IT support & issues resolution, and proposal development.

What you will be involved in:

Effectively support the management and delivery of projects – making themself flexible and outcome focussed, with a willingness to complete varied project management and co-ordination tasks as required. Part time and ad hoc support of the National Bid Manager, assisting in the development, delivery and co-ordination of incoming bid requests in all States. Including the coordinating of proposal inputs from stakeholders and ensuring proposal documents follow corporate branding guidelines, standard formatting and quality standards. Backfill of Team Organiser role when required, with responsibility for managing travel bookings, managing mobilisaiton/demobilisation of new joiners, interface for IT support, manage local account payable requirements and other regional administration tasks. Support the PMO team in Brisbane in managing project schedules and budgets – including forecast analysis, expenses – and reporting where necessary. Organizing, attending and participating in a variety of stakeholder meetings and workshops including minute taking. Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings, chasing both within the team and client where necessary. Reviewing and preparing presentation materials for meetings and workshops. Providing administrative support as needed and reviewing/preparing project outputs and reporting. Ad hoc duties depending on business requirements.

Experience & Qualifications:

Essential

Minimum of 3+years in project co-ordination, project support or office management experience within infrastructure, construction, or transport sectors. Demonstrated experience working in a professional services company. High-level of attention to detail when listening to team members and collaborators. Excellent interpersonal and highly developed communication skills both written and verbal. Ability to follow standards/procedures and ensure your activities are conducted in compliance with relevant administrative, financial, and corporate governance requirements. Ability to prioritise work and manage time effectively among competing priorities. Strong IT proficiency including ability to undertake IT support across the NRC Australia regions. Proficient in building positive relationships with senior stakeholders and technical subject matter experts.

Desirable

Recognised qualification in office management. Prior experience working with multidiscipline teams to deliver key tasks.
