We currently have Accommodation services in Newcastle across Lambton area for committed and passionate candidates who have availability across a combination of shifts, including morning, afternoons and evenings, as well as Awake Night shifts.

Your duties will include:

  • Delivering personalised support in a group home setting by assisting clients at mealtimes, personal care, administrating medication and manual handling

  • Supporting clients to make their own choices and build skills to be more independent

  • Supporting clients to engage and participate in their community

  • Building positive relationships with our clients

  • Transporting clients, using CPA minivan, if applicable

Requirements

  • Live locally to the locations mentioned above

  • Prior experience will be highly regarded

  • A current NSW Driver's License (P2 minimum)

You will have comprehensive training throughout your orientation, with ongoing learning and development. This includes:

  • Buddy shifts with CPA's experienced Disability Support Workers

  • Opportunity to complete a nationally recognised qualification such as Certificate III in Individual Support and/or a Certificate IV in Disability.

  • We invest $5,000 in training in your first year
