About the Role

We are seeking a Disability Support Practitioner to join our team in Lambton, NSW, Australia. As a Disability Support Practitioner, you will be responsible for delivering personalised support in a group home setting, assisting clients with daily living activities, and promoting their independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration
  • Support clients to engage in their community and build skills for independence
  • Transport clients using CPA's minivan, if applicable

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a similar role will be highly regarded
  • Availability to work a combination of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings, as well as awake night shifts
  • A current NSW Driver's License (P2 minimum)

Training and Development

You will receive comprehensive training throughout your orientation, with ongoing learning and development opportunities. This includes:

  • Buddy shifts with CPA's experienced Disability Support Workers
  • Opportunity to complete a nationally recognised qualification, such as Certificate III in Individual Support and/or Certificate IV in Disability
  • $5,000 invested in training in your first year
