About Our Client

Our client is a well-established Australian corporate with operations across Australia. They are a highly flexible work environment that offer working from home. You will be working with a market leading organisation that have a high performing finance team that look to provide operations with genuine business partnering.

Job Description

You will be leading a team of three people to oversee the finance support for a major division of the company. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate the timely reporting of financial and management information, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and cash flow for Assurance.
  • Prepare monthly reports with variance analysis, providing insight into business performance and Board reporting packs.
  • Coordinate the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts in line with corporate guidelines.
  • Ensure the integrity of all balance sheets, including monthly balance sheet reconciliations for all entities.
  • Monitor accounts receivable ensure timely collections.
  • Manage the Finance budget.
  • Lead and develop the Finance team.
  • Ensure compliance with group policies, procedures, and local regulations.
  • Engage with external auditors to ensure unqualified audit reports.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Over 5 years of progressive experience in Accounting and Finance.
  • A strong mix of financial and management accounting and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Experience with TM1 reporting system (asset, but not required).
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Hands-on skills with financial systems, general ledger, and reporting systems.
  • The ability to solicit and understand information related to broad requests.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Advanced analytical skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to adapt and respond to change.
  • Strong entrepreneurial and commercial thinking.
  • Commitment and drive for continuous improvement.
