We are looking for an exceptionally experienced, warm, nurturing & encouraging Superstar who:  

  • Has a true passion for high quality Early Childhood Education & Care

  • Has an inclusive leadership style and will mentor and develop our team members 


As our Lead Educator you are essential part of our team You will work closely with our Senior Leadership Team and lead your assistant educators to deliver play-based educational programs and practices that supports the development of young minds. You will provide a safe, creative, responsive and nurturing environment that engages our children and encourages them to investigate, explore and extend on their current skills. 


Sparrow Early Learning Centre in Upper Coomera is a true “home-away-from-home” — a warm, nurturing and fun environment where your child will play, learn, grow and thrive in their own unique way. We are located closely to local major shopping centres, have 4 local schools within walking distance and ample parking.  

What you’ll need:

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care
  • Proven experience in providing cozy hugs to little people 
  • An adventurous imagination to transform a loose part into a fun and valuable learning tool
  • Strong knowledge & understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and Play-based Child-led pedagogy 
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Excellent communication & leadership skills
  • Experience with Storypark is a bonus 
  • First Aid and CPR certificates including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
