About the role

  • Accountable for QA and QC on the Melbourne and Tasmania sites, as well as for the overview and support of the QA function on the Perth site.

  • Maintenance of the QMS ISO9001 accreditation and product licensing.

  • Responsible for product release, non-conformance management, corrective/preventive actions, and internal quality audits.

  • Reporting on product and quality systems compliance and performance.

  • Effective and proactive management and team leadership

About you

  • Solid background in the management of Quality Systems

  • Ability to conduct product testing in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

  • Flexibility to manage a variety of tasks and projects.

  • Strong leadership capability and experience managing people.

  • Motivated and capable of working independently.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and report writing and MS office skills.

  • Personal drive to promote and maintain project momentum and deadlines amidst resistance or lack of understanding.

  • Understand the information needs of management and provide sound technical support.

  • Ability to express and communicate ideas and recommendations clearly.

  • Effective and proactive team management and leadership
