Role:

As an Associate or Senior Associate in the TMT team, you will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary group of lawyers across national offices. Your work will involve significant transactions and advisory matters in areas such as:

  • Telecommunications and data centres, including regulatory and infrastructure projects.
  • Data and AI governance, compliance, and investments.
  • Cyber incident response and regulatory advisory.
  • Outsourcing and vendor management.
  • Corporate matters involving business separations and integrations.
  • Digital transformation initiatives.
  • Media regulatory issues and broadcasting rights.

This is a permanent, full-time role with a hybrid work model, offering flexibility to support your work-life balance.

Experience Required:

  • 3 to 6 years of experience in a TMT-focused role at a top-tier law firm (IP experience is not required).
  • Strong understanding of Australian privacy, data protection, and cyber law.
  • Proven experience in drafting and negotiating IT/telecommunications contracts.
  • Ability to contribute effectively to both small and large-scale matters.
  • A proactive attitude toward learning, networking, and mentoring.
