What's the role on offer?
Based in accordance with AMO policies and procedures, this role ensures compliant, safe, and efficient completion and certification of maintenance tasks as directed by the supervisor. As a B1 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (B1 LAME), you will be responsible for ensuring adherence to safety standards and operational efficiency, including but not limited to:
- Safely perform all assigned duties and ensure maintenance certification is carried out in line with the company AMO authorisation and approved maintenance data.
- Report defects promptly and maintain regular communication with the direct supervisor, ensuring compliance with company safety standards and procedures.
- Perform aircraft ground handling and running duties as required and approved.
- Maintain a safe, clean work environment, and ensure compliant handling of parts, tooling, and personal equipment according to Engineering Work Instructions.
- Accurately record maintenance and certification activities in line with company procedures, including timely updates to the AMO electronic timesheet system.
- Ensure compliance with all training requirements and document duties in the individual competency record

Who we are looking for:
Our ideal candidate will hold a current CASA Part 66 Aircraft Engineer Licence with B1 rating and will bring extensive experience in an aviation environment, preferably airline maintenance. You will be a team player, demonstrate initiative, and be committed to upholding Alliance Values. Your skills will consist of:
- High-level communication skills and the ability to work both autonomously and in a team-focused environment.
- Strong analytical, reasoning, and attention-to-detail capabilities.
- Well-developed computing skills, particularly with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Demonstrated experience with aircraft types maintained by the AMO.
- Ability to prioritise tasks, take initiative, and maintain a focus on safety and accuracy.
