About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Engineering department, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of our hotel facilities.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Handyperson in a similar-scale five-star hotel or hospitality setting and possess a can-do attitude with a willingness to assist the Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general maintenance and repairs, including carpentry, plumbing, painting, and more, primarily in guest rooms and Front of House areas.
  • Clean and maintain ventilation equipment, including air conditioning coils, ducting, filters, and air handling units.
  • Support the Shift Engineer and other tradespeople such as painters, electricians, and carpenters.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance in guest rooms and on assigned equipment, following the maintenance schedule.
  • Prepare daily reports to track tasks, hours, and materials used.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of plant rooms and Engineering spaces.
  • Ensure the security and proper use of tools, parts, and consumables under your charge.
