Company Overview: We are partnering with a US-based IT Managed Services company that is expanding its footprint in Australia. As a growing Managed Services Provider, our client is looking for a skilled and well-connected Business Development Manager to join their team. This is a brand-new role with immense growth potential, ideal for someone with a strong partner network in the Australian market and a passion for driving business success in a startup environment.

Job Description: As a Business Development Manager, you will play a critical role in establishing and growing our client's presence in the Australian market. You will leverage your existing network and expertise in positioning managed services, strategic partnerships, drive sales, and achieve business objectives. Specifically, you will target and develop opportunities by selling through channel partners. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, entrepreneurial individual who thrives in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to establish and grow our client's presence in the Australian market.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key channel partners, stakeholders, and potential clients within your network.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to create compelling value propositions and go-to-market strategies.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and trends.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote our client's brand and services.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on business development activities 

Experince & Skills 

  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or similar role within the Australian market.
  • Extensive network of partners, stakeholders, and clients within the IT managed services sectors.
  • Deep understanding of Cloud and Cyber Security.
  • Understanding of the channel and experience working in channel sales roles.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for driving business growth in a startup environment.
