Purpose of the Role

The Business Analyst plays a crucial role in implementing Auto & General's new Time and Attendance (T&A) system. Responsibilities include gathering and documenting business requirements, translating them into functional specifications, and ensuring system alignment with business needs. Collaborating closely with the Project Manager, stakeholders, and technical teams ensures smooth integration with existing contact center and payroll systems.

Position Accountabilities

Requirements Gathering and Analysis

  • Conduct workshops and interviews to gather detailed business requirements, including integration needs.
  • Document requirements clearly and concisely using appropriate techniques.
  • Develop a requirements traceability matrix for design and development alignment.

Solution Design and Validation

  • Assist in developing detailed solution design documents ensuring business and integration requirements are met.
  • Validate design with stakeholders for alignment.
  • Support system architecture development with integration considerations.

Testing and Validation

  • Support system testing to ensure requirements are met and integration is successful.
  • Facilitate communication between business and technical teams for issue resolution.

Documentation and Transition

  • Ensure comprehensive system documentation and handover to operations, including integration details.
  • Provide post-implementation support and facilitate transition to business-as-usual operations.

Qualifications and Experience:

Essential

  • Proven HR or payroll domain business analysis experience with system integration focus.
  • Strong business process analysis and documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Desirable

  • Experience with UKG/Kronos Time & Attendance, Genesys WFM, Aurion Payroll.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and Time & Attendance systems.
