About the Role

A social impact storytelling company is seeking a mid-level or senior actor for a touching Christmas campaign film. The project, commissioned by a prominent charity organisation in Sydney, aims to highlight the impact of community support during the holiday season. The story focuses on a mother and daughter experiencing financial hardship who receive assistance to enjoy a meaningful Christmas. This short-term engagement offers an opportunity to contribute to a socially significant narrative.

Responsibilities:

  • Portray either the mother or daughter character convincingly and sensitively
  • Collaborate with the director and fellow cast members to bring the story to life
  • Convey complex emotions related to financial struggle and gratitude
  • Participate in any necessary rehearsals or preparation sessions

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a mid-level or senior actor, preferably in film or television
  • Strong ability to portray emotional depth and authenticity on camera
  • Comfortable with themes of social struggle and community support
  • Available for filming during the specified project timeline (week of October 7th)
