We are seeking an experienced **SaaS Software Engineering Manager** with a **full-stack development background** to join our team. As the **Engineering Manager**, you will be responsible for overseeing the engineering department and ensuring the successful delivery of engineering/IT projects while remaining an active contributor, writing code and solving technical problems. To do this will require strong technical leadership and communication skills, with expertise in **AWS**, **Laravel**, **TypeScript**, and **React**. Working in an agile environment you will collaborate closely with our product managers and designers ensuring the delivery of high-quality, creative, secure and scalable solutions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the engineering team, including hiring, training, mentoring, and performance management. Foster a collaborative, innovative, and efficient team environment.
- Actively contribute to coding and development efforts, maintaining hands-on involvement in software design, architecture, and problem-solving.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align engineering strategies with business goals. Participate in setting technical direction and making strategic decisions.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Participate in research and development initiatives to drive technological advancements and solve complex technical challenges.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure engineering efforts support broader company objectives. Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Drive best practices for software development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical feedback to the team to guide their development and ensure quality remains high
- Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for your team, helping them grow their skills and advance their careers.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Expertise in **AWS**, **Larave**l, **TypeScript**, and **React**:

- Proficiency in modern software development practices and workload prioritization.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop an engineering team to success.
- Strong technical skills with a track record of hands-on development and problem-solving.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic thinking abilities.
