Job Purpose

Adrenalin's Account Directors believe in the application of art and science to create beautiful ideas, digital products and services. Our Account Directors build valuable long term relationships by working with senior clients who understand broader strategic opportunities of the digital landscape to their business. They are strategically-minded digital experts with an innovative spirit. Adrenalin is looking for a Digital Account Director to join our growing team. This role requires a true leader who can become an indispensable partner to our clients by delivering brilliant work, helping them build digital products (websites, mobile apps) and strategic roadmaps that will identify the quickest paths to growth. As Account Director you’ll work side-by-side with the industry’s brightest minds and contribute to projects for ambitious brands while receiving mentorship, training and experience to push boundaries and supercharge your digital skills and career development. Reporting to the General Manager, your main focus will be management and growth of a select number of key client accounts, ensuring the delivery of strategic and innovative digital solutions which create deep end-user engagement, driving results and successful outcomes for clients.

On any given day you might:

  • Oversee the delivery of brilliant, award-winning work including digital products, enterprise platforms (websites. mobile apps), tactical campaigns and social media activations
  • Develop strong relationships with Senior/Executive/C-level client stakeholders while maintaining a presence with day-to-day client teams
  • Make a difference to digital communications, marketing and strategy and inspire some of Australia’s most ambitious brands
  • Believe in the power of data and harness this to formulate strategic solutions for your clients
  • Be proactive and results orientated and foster a culture of learning and self-improvement, setting clear progression plans for your team
  • Work closely with the Strategy, Project Management, Creative & Technical teams to develop exceptional results-oriented work
  • Work as a trusted expert for your our clients, helping to manage stakeholder expectations and feedback
  • Be the trusted voice of the client within the agency

  • Enjoy providing directional leadership in the digital space, driving your client’s business forward by exploring emerging digital opportunities

  • Are fanatical about business strategy, information design, creative design and web technology
  • Have a strong understanding of the digital project lifecycle, including strategy, user experience, UI design, production and project management processes
  • Are creative, ambitious and entrepreneurial with good initiative, strong organisation and attention to detail
  • Are wanting to mentor and develop your own team of digital account managers

The ideal person has:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a proven Digital Account Director, Strategist or Senior Account Manager
  • Experience working in an environment with monthly/quarterly targets & KPI’s
  • Ability to think strategically and develop deep insights from analytics and historical data
  • Strong understanding of the digital project lifecycle, including strategy, user experience, UI design, production and project management processes
  • Excellent understanding of web-based technologies & tools and their commercial application
  • A fanatical obsession with client service
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Exceptional interpersonal & presentation skills with ability to facilitate and lead meetings with Executive and C-level stakeholders, identifying clear actions and follow-ups
  • Innate curiosity and entrepreneurship with the ability to operate simultaneously macro and micro – both leading strategies and rolling up your sleeves to get the job done

Remuneration:

Excellent remuneration plus an uncapped monthly bonus is on offer (including OTE $130K-$140K plus)
