POSITION PURPOSE

  • To contribute to managing the integrity of core business data repositories
  • To develop and manage operational and management reporting suite
  • To manage master data design and data integration routines for core corporate systems
  • To design and develop integration solutions for corporate business systems

Essential Criteria

  • Knowledge of solution & data architecture principles (including logical and physical data modeling concepts)
  • Experience in analytics & business intelligence solutions
  • Experience in systems analysis techniques
  • Experience in application configuration and design principles
  • Experience working with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power Pages)
  • Experience in systems integration & data interfaces (including Web Services, API, and ETL routines)
  • Experience in scripting, programming, automation & development using Python, Java, R, C#.Net, PowerShell, or similar
  • Experience in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of relational, dimensional, and NoSQL database management systems, data warehousing, data design, and use of extraction tools
  • Experience in data transformation, data wrangling, cleansing & enrichment
  • Experience in security and authentication for Data & Integration Solutions

Desirable Criteria:

  1. Understanding of business and customer drivers in a local government context
  2. Experience working with Technology One, Local Government product suite
  3. Experience working with Microsoft Azure solutions
  4. Experience in development and management of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence solutions
