About the Opportunity

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Conference and Events Operations Manager to join our C&E Operations team. Reporting directly to the C&E Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our events and conferences, while ensuring strict adherence to OH&S policies and procedures, resolving customer complaints, and maintaining the highest quality standards of work.

As a leader, you will set the bar by demonstrating a genuine passion for hospitality and a drive to deliver an exceptional level of service to our clients and guests. Your motivation, coupled with a strong work ethic and a "can-do" attitude, will be essential for thriving in this role.

What you'll need to be successful

  • Previous C&E Assistant Manager experience, preferable in a within the hotel industry
  • Experience in coordinating/ planning high volume of Corporate Events, Residential Conferences and AGMs
  • Hands on experience with training, coaching, motivating and developing a large team
  • Strong business acumen, time management and organisational skills
  • Passion for the hospitality industry, demonstrated with sound product knowledge
  • High grooming standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise with guests and stakeholders at all levels
