ABOUT THE ROLE:

Summary of the role:

Health Information Services at Mercy Hospital for Women are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated staff member to fill a permanent part-time position.

Duties include:

Scanning and preparation of paperwork to the scanned medical record and associated quality assusrance activitiesMedical record filing, retrievalReception and information access duties

ABOUT YOU:

The successful applicant must have the flexibility to adapt and embrace change within the workplaceYou must have the ability to work professionally and independently to work alone in the department to balance conflicting prioritiesComputer competency, along with the ability to learn new system is essentialPrior experience in Health Information Services or healthcare administration is desired but not essential

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

Candidates are required to meet the position and qualification requirements.Provide a current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check (Mercy Health may conduct additional background checks subject to current legislation).Proof of vaccination status consistent with public health orders and with Mercy Health’s policy (includes but is not limited to COVID-19 and seasonal influenza vaccination compliance requirement).
