Summary of the role:
Are you passionate about improving health outcomes via communications?
The Health Literacy Coordinator will utilise their administration, coordination and organisational skills to contribute to the successful delivery of Mercy Health’s Health Literacy Framework and associated quality improvement program.
Part-time role supporting improved communication and best-practice health literacy initiativesDatabase managementSupport health services to identify and action improvements to patient experienceDesign and help facilitate awareness events and focus group discussionsWork collaboratively with others to ensure health services meet criteria for patient-centred careChampion plain language in verbal and written communicationABOUT YOU:
High level of interpersonal, communication skills (written and verbal) and computer literacyGreat attention to detail and great command of the written wordExcellent time management skills and an ability to manage conflicting prioritiesExperience in a Health Service environment (desirable but not essential)ABOUT US:
