ABOUT THE ROLE
- RFQ Opportunity
- 12 months contract
- Melbourne based but Canberra is also an option
- Required NV1 security clearance or above
The Cloud Service Manager is responsible for ensuring exceptional service delivery to customers by acting as the central point of ownership for cloud services. This role focuses on managing customer expectations, aligning processes, and driving optimization.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Provide a single point of ownership for cloud services.
- Oversee onboarding of customer workloads onto the cloud service.
- Act as a key point of contact and escalation for onboarding issues.
- Align customer and service processes to support seamless delivery.
- Lead monthly service review meetings to ensure services meet customer expectations.
- Advocate for customer needs, including feature requests for service roadmap enhancements.
- Deliver financial and capacity optimization insights to improve service efficiency.
REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience in service management, ideally within a Defence context.
- Strong skills in stakeholder management and process alignment.
- Ability to manage customer expectations and address escalations effectively.
- Experience in cloud service onboarding and financial/capacity optimization is highly desirable.
