About the Role: As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll reconciliations in a high-volume setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-volume payroll reconciliation tasks with speed and precision.
  • Ensure compliance with strict deadlines and financial regulations.
  • Enter and verify payroll data, maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to resolve payroll discrepancies.
  • Utilise multiple software systems efficiently to complete payroll tasks.
  • Handle phone enquiries professionally, managing peak and trough periods effectively.

About You:

  • Demonstrated experience in finance, reconciliation, or related roles.
  • High-level data entry skills with exceptional speed and accuracy.
  • Strong computer skills, including the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Professional phone manner and communication skills.
  • A current Police Clearance is required.
