About the Role: As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll reconciliations in a high-volume setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-volume payroll reconciliation tasks with speed and precision.
- Ensure compliance with strict deadlines and financial regulations.
- Enter and verify payroll data, maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to resolve payroll discrepancies.
- Utilise multiple software systems efficiently to complete payroll tasks.
- Handle phone enquiries professionally, managing peak and trough periods effectively.
About You:
- Demonstrated experience in finance, reconciliation, or related roles.
- High-level data entry skills with exceptional speed and accuracy.
- Strong computer skills, including the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Professional phone manner and communication skills.
- A current Police Clearance is required.
