Payroll Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join our team. As a Payroll Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage daily payroll operations, including processing payroll transactions, reconciliations, and validations.
- Communicate effectively with payroll stakeholders, including employees, managers, and external parties.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, awards, and enterprise bargaining agreements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including HR, finance, and management.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to payroll-related inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with the Payroll Team Leader to achieve team goals and objectives.
- Previous experience in payroll processing, preferably in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, awards, and enterprise bargaining agreements.
- Proficiency in SAP and Excel, with the ability to generate financial reports.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- High level of professionalism, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
